Machakos county medical practitioners left wondering who the governor is between Alfred Mutua and his wife Lilian Ng'ang'a

Doctor in machakos county have been infuriated by the first lady's power trip attitude,Lillian Ng'ang'a who has been telling doctors how to do their jobs. 
Harvey Mbithi, who is also chairman of medical practitioners, told the journalists that they were on strike because the governor and the county executive were disrupting the working system that has been put in place at the county's hospital.

“We cannot have Machakos First Lady and MCAs come to hospitals and instruct doctors on what to do. We are not happy as a Union because procedures have to be used,” said Mbithi.

The governor was asked to address the situation at hand by the medical practitioners' as soon as possible before things turned hostile for practitioners', pharmacists and dentists alike. This is according to the petition that was made by them concern the matter.
Governor Mutua  had assured the workers that he would settle all their grievances and sort out the promotion anomalies two months before the strike but his promise to do so was never fulfilled.
There has been a lot of scandals and accusations revolving around these promotions which have been termed as unreliable thanks to the county government's sloppy job.
Most doctors claim that they are still being undermined by being paid as interns despite having worked for the last 4 years with full experience.
Harvey Mbithi said that those who were promoted, did not belong inside the job slot that was allocated to them.
In recent days, the government of Machakcos county had yet made another promise to pay Jackline Mwende  Sh 30,000 per month for one year after her estranged husband chopped off her hands.
Dr.Alfred Mutua's wife took a chance to visit the victim at her home in Kathama village, Machakos.
Mrs. Lilian Ng’ang’a also promised that Mwende will receive all the medical support from the county government and receive prosthetic as she urgently requires them in order to live a fairly normal life.
But that is not all, she also contributed Sh100,000 to cater for Mwende's needs.
