Dallas Police Department has confirmed the death of a fifth police officer due to the injuries from the shooting in a protest termed black lives matter in Dallas, Texas, United States.
They have however also reported that one of the snipers has been neutralised, the suspect told the police officers “the end is coming” {their [police] end is coming}
Acording to police, about 11 Dallas police officers were shot by snipers who opened fire on Thursday, July 7, all from elevated positions, near Dealey Plaza during protest over shootings by police officers which ended up with death of two black men, one Louisiana and another one in Minnesota. Police, during a press conference sayed they believed a bomb may have been hidden somewhere downtown.
An search is underway for the suspects and the Dallas Police Department on twitter send out a photo on Thursday night of a person of interest who was seen wearing camouflage and holding a rifle. "This is one of our suspects. Please help us find him!" the police department captioned the pic..
