MUMMIFIED MONGOLIAN MONK FOUND ALIVE AFTER 2 CENTURIES

imagine a 200 year old mummified body that looked like this? isn't this astonishing. Now think about how you would feel and react if you were told this mummified 200 year old body of a buddhist monk was, in fact, alive! Discovered in the lotus position, covered in animal hide, in the Songinokhairkhan district, close to the Mongolian capital Ulaanbaatar, this monk's body was completely preserved. 

Forensic examinations are being carried out on the remains, which investigators believe belong to a man who may have been a Lama, or a teacher of Tibetan Buddhism. An expert has claimed the monk may have been in a rare spiritual state known as "tukdam" and is in fact, alive. Forensic examinations are under way on the amazing remains, which are believed to be around 200 years old. Read on to discover the truth, through the words of experts. This discovery will shock you!

Initial speculation is that the mummy could be a teacher of Lama Dashi-Dorzho Itigilov. Born in 1852, Dashi-Dorzho Itigilov was a Buryat Buddhist Lama of the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, best known for the lifelike state of his body. 
Institute of Buddhist Art at Ulaanbaatar Buddhist University gave a statement.
He  said,"The Lama is sitting in the lotus position vajra, the left hand is opened, and the right hand symbolizes of the preaching Sutra. This is a sign that the Lama is not dead, but is in a very deep meditation according to the ancient tradition of Buddhist lamas."
