MAN BITTEN ON PENIS BY NINE-FOOT PYTHON WHILE ON TOILET

A Thai man is recovering in hospital after being attacked by the snake while sitting on the toilet at his home.

Boonmakchuay suffered an eight cm wound after being bit on the penis by the snake which had crawled up through the plumbing, The agonizing  ordeal lasted half an hour before he managed to prise open the snake's jaws and escape.
He described how he fought the snake, with help of his wife who sought help out, and a neighbour who came with a knife and a rope, but only managed to free himself when the giant python lost it’s grip.

He said: "All of a sudden, while I was holding it, it began to lose some strength so I used my hand to prise open its mouth. Then the snake released its grip by itself."
Medical staff are promising his full recovery, saying he was lucky, adding that "if the bite had gone into the urinary tract it would have been a big problem."
Rescue workers  released the snake after using hammers to free it from the toilet.
